When you feel broken and hurt, simply let yourself experience the pain.
Allow yourself to get grounded again. The experience of being broken is a wonderful gift that gives us the opportunity to reach another level of self-acceptance and self-love.
In the past we may have been taught to run from this kind of pain. That is the old mechanical way of living. The new way is to allow yourself to be humbled, for every time you do, you will embrace another part of the real you.
Hurt and other things that create a feeling of being broken are nothing more than lost positions. They are a letting go of positions of attachment. In all cases the humility that comes from letting go of hurt is beneficial. When embraced, a certain kind of joy will come out of the discovery of more self.
I wrote this for someone I know that is in pain right now. I know it will be beneficial for others as well. I have seen your pain and I have been through pain. I made the journey into my pain in order to discover the secrets of life. What I found at the lowest of bottoms was the ultimate secret of life. That secret is to “Accept and love yourself no matter what is happening.”
